We warmly welcome all visitors to our North Waikato District.
Tourism is playing a larger part in the district and with our wonderful walkways at Lake Hakanoa , Lake Puketirini , Hakarimata Kauri walk, along with many others, there is a lot to offer. There are our significant wetlands and the Waikato River, along with our largest industry - farming - which contributes so much to New Zealand ’s economy.
We hope you enjoy your visit and we look forward to your return.

The Waikato Enterprise Agency is a registered charitable trust delivering economic development services into the Waikato District and based at 30 Main Street Huntly.
Our key aim is to support business and community growth. The Huntly website is a key initiative to support the promotion of the area. We are making websites available to all businesses and community groups based in the Waikato District and we encourage you to utilise these sites to promote your businesses and services.
