Genesis Energy Huntly Aquatic Centre 
Located at the Huntly Domain on Wight Street. The indoor centre offers a lap pool and a learner and toddler’s pool. There is also an outdoor picnic area available. 
Prices are:

Children $2.00
Students/Seniors $2.50
Adults $4.00
Spectators $1.50
Children aged 3 and under accompanied by an adult Free of charge


Waikato Coalfields Museum
Waikato Coalfields Museum houses various collections of photos, oral histories, family histories and artifacts that bring to life Huntly’s unique coal mining history.
The museum is located on Harlock Place, off Hakanoa Street, only 100 meters north of the Huntly Town Centre. The Museum is open 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm and entry is free, however they do appreciate a small donation. Click here to visit the museums website

Huntly Placemakers Speedway
If you’re one of the thousands who love dirt flying and engines revering, Huntly Placemakers Speedway is definitely a place to visit.
The speedway runs on a season basis and is fun for the whole family. and with prices starting from $15 for adults and children (up to 15 years) at $10 its also a cheap way to spend a Saturday night.

The Bush Tramway Club
Looking for a fun day out for the whole family? Only 12 minutes from the Huntly town centre is The Bush Tramway Club’s Pukemiro Heritage Railway. 
Catch a train pulled by locomotives of days past through the bush and hillside. 
Fares are: $15 for Adults | School age children: $5 | Pre-school: Free

Cornerstone Alpaca Stud
Looking for something for the kids? Visit Cornerstone Alpaca Stud where you can meet and learn more about alpacas, hand feed the alpacas, take photos with the alpacas, and visit the farm shop. 
Adults and students are $10 and pre-school children are $5

You and your children can paint your own piece of Splashy Pottery, make your own mug with ‘Dad’ , ‘Mum’, ‘The Boss’, what ever you want on it. Play with our vibrant colours and create a new work of art.
Located in the old Village Hall in Horotiu (only 20 minutes south of Huntly), Splashy is open from 8:30am until 4:00pm weekdays. Paint your own Splashy Pottery prices are from $8 – $65.
